The Philadelphia Area Computer Society

The Philadelphia Area Computer Society (PACS) was organized in the Spring of 1976 to meet the needs of the growing number of persons interested in personal computing in the Philadelphia area. The Society is an educational organization and offers courses at all levels of computer hardware and software. The monthly meetings are attended by well over 100 computer enthusiasts from many varied backgrounds. We have special interest subgroups for all the major microcomputer systems as well as computer music, robotics, space flight simulation, and more. Every year we sponsor a Computer Games Festival as well as the Personal Computer Music Festival. Our monthly newsletter, The Data Bus, contains meeting schedules and events, articles, classifieds, and more. For more information about PACS, write to: PACS, Box 1954, Phila., PA 19105.
